The cast and crew of the show came on board for the love of the project and each other. With that combination they managed to pull off the impossible, shooting everything at lightning speed for practically zero budget. The group is excited to share their work with the world as well as find sponsorship for future seasons.
Craig Bonacorsi is a Michigan native who started off as an actor and found a love for writing. His first produced webseries was a dark comedy called “Infamous.” His next web endeavor is this project, “TheGameRev.com.” Writing everything from action features to dramatic pilots, Craig is always excited to see his ideas come to life on the screen. He is currently in production on a short drama he wrote called TO THOSE WHO LEFT US BEHIND and two other comedy webseries called “Bite Me” and “Stripped.”
Pharaba Hacker-Witt came up with the idea for TheGameRev.com only because of Craig, Ben, Jeff, Leo, AJ…the list could go on forever of the boys she is surrounded with who are obsessed with video games. Anyway, they inspired her to pander to their audience and it became a truly fun endeavor as they worked up real characters and the boys taught her many things, some of which she never wanted to know. Fapping, really? She continues to write including a recently finished YA novel (LORI STINSON, TIME TRAVELING GODDESS), a few feature films (HOW TO CATCH A PRINCE and DEATHCATS), and other web series including “Stripped” and “Reckless Instinct.”
Ben Perry You probably know Ben Perry best for his short story work in 6th Grade detailing the life of a heroic lesser panda or for his space adventure extravaganza starring world famous alien eliminator Conrad Wheeler. If neither of those are ringing a bell, then you’ll probably one day recall his future work as the author of the terrifyingly cuddly horror film ‘Mega Bunny’, or as the blaspheming heathen who split your sides with the heavenly legal romp ‘Gary the Angel’. When approached by Craig Bonacorsi with an opportunity to co-write and star in a piece set largely within the scope of his own usual day to day tedium, Ben was just lazy enough to sign on. ”Just imagine, one day we may be paid to speak with hot girls and play video games.” That’s one raid worth logging in for. Keep your eyes peeled for future Perry-Bonacorsi joints involving Failed Vampires and their groupies.

Producer-Craig Bonacorsi is always looking for a new challenge and having co-created TheGameRev.com he stepped up and decided to put on a producing hat. Being thoroughly involved in the decision making process has been a fun yet frustrating challenge. He enjoys being able to put his stamp on more of the project and uses his new knowledge to be a better writer and actor. It helps to know all facets of production to be a better member of a team. He so loved the experience he is now Executive Producing his own short “To those Who Left Us Behind” in the hopes of obtaining interest to fund and shoot the feature.
